PETER STUART is a very lucky guy. Born in the center of the universe Glen Head, NY he started playing music while in college and performed in various bands. He gave a tape with his songs to COUNTING CROWS-singer Adam Duritz and was promptly invited to open for the COUNTING CROWS and JEFF BUCKLEY. After this concert he was asked to play on the entire tour, and travelled six months through the entire US with them. All this without Major label support, something that seemed unthinkable in the US. On the last date of the tour, Peter signed with Columbia/Sony Music and commenced recording an album under the name „Dog´s Eye View“. Entitled„Happy Nowhere“, the album contained a US-Top-5-hit with „Everything Falls Apart“, that also did really well in the rest of the world.
His new album „Propeller“ was recorded under the supervision of Andrew Williams in Los Angeles. „Propeller“ is a masterpiece and after touring the US this last summer with Matchbox Twenty he is now ready to take on Europe!
