When you listen to ISAK for the first time, who grew up in Sweden with his Somalian mother, you’ll have one of these special moments. Like a young MICK JAGGER singing in falsetto, like a male SKIN, but always with his own timbre, the 22-year-old singer created an album which frees real emotions and is a pleasure to listen to from the first to the last chord.

ISAK said about his childhood in a small Swedish town: „It’s a great place if you have an aim in life. Especially if that aim is getting out of this place!“ Nevertheless he grew up in an inspiring surrounding, and with every note he inhaled from his idols MARVIN GAYE, PRINCE, CURTIS MAYFIELD and SANTANA his biggest wish just grew stronger: starting his own career. And he finally managed to do just that. In 2000 he moved to Stockholm and started working with famed producer EMIL GOTTHARDT (Blacknuss, Jennifer Brown, Stephen Simmonds). After finishing about half of his CD he went to London to finish it with Jamaican producer GLEN SCOTT.

They created a very special mixture out of Scandinavian pop-hooks, European perfection and deep soul, by perfectly blending Jamaican, Somalian, Swedish and British influences.
